At a previous employer, I worked with several other guys in a lab. Bob was one of our fellow employees that everyone disliked the most. He was lab worker who was most likely to disappear when things got busy. He would go out on the plant floor to collect samples and be gone twice as long as anyone else in the lab. He had been there longer than most of us. Everyone in the lab seemed to get along with well except Bob. If anyone was going to be the target for a prank, Bob would be that target.
Kevin was another tech that worked in the lab. We each had a drawer where we stored personal belongings. We generally knew that anything that we kept in these drawers were fair game. Anything that you didn’t want to share was kept in your locker. Kevin kept Lubriderm hand lotion in his drawer. It seemed that every day, Bob would open Kevin’s drawer and get some of his lotion. At one point, Kevin was no longer using this lotion, but Bob was still using it. If it had been anyone else, I don’t think it would have bothered Kevin at all. Kevin considered throwing the Lubriderm away. Then we decided to add an entire bottle of Elmer’s Glue to the bottle of Lubriderm. We told everyone in the lab except Bob about the “Gluebriderm”. Bob continued to lotion up with our concoction every day when he came it until the bottle was empty.
